‘Pushya’ edition of Champaka Utsava

Champaka Educational and Cultural Trust, Mysuru, has organised the ‘Pushya’ edition of ‘Champaka Rashtreeya Kalaa Utsava’ series on Maagha Shuddha Ashtami on Feb. 17 at 4.30 pm at Champaka Sabhangana, Champaka Academy premises in Ramakrishnanagar, showcasing Bharatanatyam performances by accomplished artistes from Bengaluru and Mysuru.

The evening will start with a Bharatanatyam performance by the tiny-tot disciples of Vidushi Dr. Nagalakshmi Nagarajan, Founder of Champaka Academy, Mysuru.

Disciples of Dr. Shubharani Bolar, Director of Bharatha Nritya Sangeetha Academy, Bengaluru, will present ‘Navarasa Krishna,’ a Bharatanatyam feature.

Vidwan Badari Divya Bhushan, Director of Bhushans’ Academy of Performing Arts & Visual Presentation, Mysuru, along with his disciples, will also be presenting a Bharatanatyam feature — ‘Ramabhyudayam.’
