Dasara lightings extended till Nov. 3: One-way rule, no parking zones continue

Mysore/Mysuru: As Dasara lightings has been extended till Nov. 3, the one-way rule and no parking zones will be in effect from Oct. 25 till Nov. 4 from 4 pm to 11 pm to enable tourists and visitors to view the lightings and illumination without any hassles.

One-way rule

From Gun House Circle on roads around Mysore Palace, movement of vehicles is banned in the clockwise direction.

Vehicular movement in anti- clockwise direction is banned from K.R. Circle till Govt. Ayurveda Hospital and College Circle and from Irwin Road till K.R. Circle via Ashoka Road.

From Ashoka Road-Dawood Khan Street Junction till Nehru Circle; Chamaraja Double Road Junction till Banumaiah Chowk; Agrahara Circle via Thyagaraja Road till Chamaraja Double Road Junction; Chirag Junction on Lokaranjan Mahal Road towards east till the Circus

Grounds Junction; Ashoka Road to B.N. Road Junction on Chandragupta Road from west to east; Chirag Junction till F.K. Irani Circle (vehicular movement from south to north is banned);

No Parking zones

Roads around Palace; MUDA junction till Banumaiah College Junction; Basaveshwara Circle on Sayyaji Rao Road till Agrahara Circle; Agrahara Circle till Siddappa Square; Agrahara Circle till old JSS Hospital; Meelad Park Junction till Harsha Road Junction; around Gandhi Square; Ashoka Road Junction via Chandragupta Road till B.N. Road junction; Nehru Circle vial Mini Vidhana Soudha till Nem,inath Steels Junction; Five Lights Circle on B.N. Road till Central Mall Junction; Government House South Gate till Harding Circle; Circus Grounds till Hardinge Circle; Harikrishna Circle till Old BJP Office; Dasara Expo Main Gate Junction till  Mysuru Zoo Road Junction; 5th Cross Road in Ittigegud till Dasara Expo East Gate Road; Mall of Mysore Junction on M.G. Road till Lokaranjan Mahal Road Junction and from Chatrimara on Male Mahadeshwara Road Junction till Channaiah Circle, according to a press release from the City Police Commissioner.
